Day 6: Part I - Old Trail Town & Virginia/Nevada City, Montana

Hello!

Well, we unfortunately didn't get to spend as much time in Cody as we'd like.  With tons of things to see, we decided to get up early and get at least one thing in.  We chose to see "Old Trail Town".  And we're so glad we did!  It is a collection, museum if you will, of old cabins that have been disassembled and moved to Cody and reassembled.  These things are the real McCoy.  Not only were the cabins there, but a collection of wagons, furniture, guns, letters, all things west were gathered to be displayed.  So, I'm posting a few pics...

The "Sheriff" of Old Trail Town

Some amazing artifacts!

The cabins were furnished

They had guns on display

Creepy...but way cool
Bullet holes still there to tell 'tales'
(looks like .22, .38 and .44/.45)

Some more bullet holes...

The Saloon...no
"soiled doves" here

Bullet holes still in the door
of the saloon

More guns...*sigh*

We could've spent all day there!  It was so wonderful to see our history preserved like that.  We only wish we could've spent more time in Cody, Wyoming.  But, we hit the road for a fairly short drive to Virginia/Nevada City.  So stay tuned for the details...

Be Blessed-

I know that some of my thoughts may create passionate feelings. I do appreciate passion and I welcome it; however, please do not be rude. These are only my thoughts...
