Travel Suggestions

Hello, dear readers!

Well, Jeff is on his way to Dallas to drop off his car to be shipped.  At least that's one more thing to check off 'the list'.  Please pray for safe travels for him.

We are in the final stages of planning our trip.  Although we are anxious to get straight there, we are wanting to take advantage of our time on the road and see some sights.  So, if any of you have any suggestions, please let us know.  Things are pretty much liquid right now...I do know that we will be traveling to El Paso first, then New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, and crossing the border to Canada through Montana.  And, if there are any Priors in those areas, let us know as well...we'd love to catch dinner with you!  Let us know your thoughts!

Preparations

Well, July is almost over and it seems like only a blink of an eye since Jeff and I got notification of orders to Alaska. Alaska...I keep saying it to myself and to Jeff just to see how it rolls off the tongue. It always sounds so foreign. When I hear it, I get a mixture of excitement and fear at the same time. I do know that whatever lies in store for us, we have God to guide us and each other to lean on (along with our three furry kids) and that is immeasurable.

We have been blessed that our house sold at all, let alone in 45 days. We are now living with my parents until we leave and it's great to be able to spend our last few weeks with them. I will miss them dearly, but we are used to this life...it has been all that I've known.

So, dear readers, I thought that I would create this blog in hopes to share our journey with you as well as keep a record of it for us to look back on. So, stay tuned...20 days until we leave!
